Staircase - Ogrodowa 18 Street

It is located in a secession tenant house at the corner of Ogrodowa and Piekary Streets built in the period 1902-1903. On the façades there are still present the secession ornaments – low relieves presenting human faces and greenery. The staircase has one of very few winding stairs in Poznań. The door woodwork, baluster and protective spats are preserved. At the entrance, there is an inscription of a word “salve” in the floor. On the walls, there are tiles with impressive ornaments characteristic for this era. Nearby the building there is a park adjacent to north side of the Old Brewery.
