Wola Hippodrome

The construction of the stud as a transport base for the Emperor’s Castle in Poznań started in the period 1908‑1910. After building the stud and the garage the racing track was developed. At the area of 54 ha two tracks and stands and non-existing nowadays cricket, tennis and football fields. Facilities which remained from the original project are: one track, three stands with a restaurant and a ticket office, the stud, water tower and one housing building. In the street adjacent to Wola, on the west side, there are devastated housing buildings from the seventies of XX century.
