Town Hall
A pearl of renaissance architecture, constructed in the fifties of XVI century. The external façade presents, among others, portraits of kings of Poland and dukes of the Great Poland. One may admire Latin inscriptions and fragments of the constitution of the City of Poznań around the Town Hall, on façades. The tower has the finial of an eagle. Interiors after numerous reconstructions and renovations with preserved renaissance architecture. The most representative hall is a huge vestibule with rich renaissance symbols on the ceiling. Mirror ceiling situated in the Court Hall located on the same storey as the vestibule dates back to that epoch. Wide, spacious staircases.
