Roosevelt Street

The street is 1.4 km long, directed from north to south. In north part of the west frontage there is a series of secession tenements with numerous architectonic details, such as gargoyles, floral ornaments. This fragment of the street has been preserved in an unchanged form since the times of its staking out. At the back of tenements, there are courtyards with tenements dating back to the beginning of XX century. North, south and west perspectives open, the Katter perspective with the view over railway rails, Theatre Bridge and the Fredry Street. The wets frontage developed with skyscrapers of XX and XXI centuries, the east frontage open with the view over the Świętego Marcina Street.
