Półwiejska Street
700‑meter long street directed from north to south. From north side it starts its course in the vicinity of the Old Part of the City, and terminates in the south with the Old Brewery. It is a promenade with a character of a commercial passageway. Along the north and south frontage there is an eclectic development ranging from the development of XIX‑century with a character of a rural suburb, through secession urban tenements of the turning of XIX and XX centuries, to the development of the second half of the previous century. Façades of preserved historical tenements present a lot of the architectonic detail dating back to the times of the construction of the buildings. North and south perspectives open, north perspective with the view over a baroque church and the previous Jesuit Collegium, whereas south perspective with the view over the Królowej Jadwigi Street developed in mid XX century as well as the beginning of the Dębiecki Green Belt.
