Okrąglak (Rotunda) Building
A former department store constructed in years 1948-1955. In spite of the fact that the building was constructed at the time when the architectonic style of socrealism dominated, it was constructed in the style referring to modernism. The height of the building is 45 m, and its area is 5.9 thousand m2. Nine storeys above the ground and two underground storeys. The building is of a cylinder shape. Inside centrally located staircase with three flights of stairs meandering along internal walls of the building. After the reconstruction, the interior arranged in a contemporary style with preserved detail dating back to the construction of the facility. The view over the panorama of the city from the terrace.
