Jeżycki Market Square

One of several market squares in Poznań. Since the time of its staking out at the beginning of XX century, its function has not changed, whereas, the arrangement of stalls has evolved. The frontages of the Market include tenements of various periods, among others, there are two half-timbered buildings in the Switzerland style dating back to the end of XIX century as well as monumental secession tenements dating back to years 1905-1910. Ground floors of the tenements host commercial facilities. Façades of certain tenements enjoy a well preserved rich architectonic detail. There are big, spacious, multi-room apartments in the buildings.
