A 230-meter long street directed from east to west. Road surface – modern designed cobbled stones. Pavement surface – pavement slabs. Street established in the period of the establishment of the left-bank Poznań in the mid of XIII century. Eastern perspective closed with the former Jesuit College in a baroque style, currently the place serves as location city of Poznań authorities, in XIX century it was a place where Fryderyk Chopin gave his concerts. Western frontage closed with the XIX-century hospital building at the Szkolna street. Developments along the frontage includes buildings constructed in gothic style (building of the Parsonage of Poznań Parish Collegiate), baroque style (Parish church of XVII century) and renovated housing building with elements of the renaissance architecture.
