Cyryla Ratajskiego Square
It has the dimensions of 100×100 m with tram rails going across the middle of the square. In the past it was supposed to be a new shopping center of the city. The square has been managed in the internal part. The square is localized at the foot of the mountain called Musza Góra. It is one of the biggest in Poznań clusters of socrealistic architecture dating back to the fifties of XX century. Between the 23 Lutego Street and the Młyńska Street reaching the square there is a renovated red clinker brick building dating back to the end of XIX century, constructed in the style of the Netherlands renaissance. Internal perspectives closed, with various stylistics, and the possibility to expose homogeneous architecture. External perspectives open – west perspective to the Młyńska Street and the 23 Lutego Street, south perspective to the 3 Maja Street, west perspective to the Mielżyńskiego Street, leading to the hill, north perspective to the Libelta Street.
