Courtyard of the Poznań Society of Friends of Science [PTPN]

The courtyard is surrounded by tenements belonging to the Poznań Society of Friends of Science. The vestibule connecting the courtyard with the Mielżyńskiego street presents commemorative plagues devoted to scientists and artists with merits for science and Polish culture. The courtyard presents a replica of the first erected in Poland monument of Adam Mickiewicz. The wall surrounding the courtyard present commemorative plagues devoted to science luminaries of Poznań and persons of merits for the history of the city. The monument is surrounded by green areas with paths and small garden architecture.
