City Hall of Poznań
The contemporary building was constructed in two phases. The first phase covers the period between 1701 and 1733 when the building was constructed without the northern wing and the tower – these two elements were built in the second phase in 1737. The baroque construction was built in the shape of a horse-shoe. It has three above-ground floors. In front of the dome there is a large courtyard with partly preserved ambulatory adjacent to the parish church. Near the gate there is a gunmetal bollard that used to be a heart of the bell from the nonexistent Mary Magdalene Church. The college was located nearby the Ballet School, Gołębia Street and the Old Market Square.
