Description

There is only one elevator in the eight-story building and only one staircase. In the rush hours, the only alternative to the lift is the stairs. Waiting for the elevator determines the rhythm of life in the block. This expectation, which usually causes conflicts, is also a source of funny situations. An ineffective elevator in a large residential building becomes a metaphor for interpersonal relationships.

The director and screenwriter of the film is Hieronim Neumann - director of animated films, combined and experimental, author of artworks, screenwriter, professor of visual arts, recognized as the leading representative of the experimental stream in Polish animation. The creator of such films as 'Blok' ('The Block',1982), 'Zoopraxiscope' (2005) or 'Zdarzenie' ('Event', 1987).

The cinematographer was Zbigniew Kotecki and the music was written by Krzesimi Dębski.
